Kelowna’s #1 Restaurant
Soup & Sandwich Shop
Closed — Mon–Fri 10 AM–2 PM See the MenuRanked #1 in Kelowna on TripAdvisor for over a decade — a reflection of the love Crystal, Steve, and the whole Little Hobo team pour into every bowl and every bite.
“You don’t get food like this anymore! It is truly a delicious experience.”
Crystal and Steve’s story at The Little Hobo is one of passion, generosity, and the simple belief that good food doesn’t need to be complicated. What started as a neighbourhood lunch spot on Leon Avenue has grown into something the whole city takes pride in — a place where comfort food is taken seriously, and every bowl of soup is made completely from scratch.
Crystal, the heart behind the kitchen, rotates through more than 300 different homemade soups throughout the year. Regulars will tell you she has a gift for it — whether it’s her beloved Doukhobor Borscht, a warming Mulligatawny, or something unexpected on a Tuesday. The baked goods, the pyrogies, the sandwiches stacked generously on fresh bread — everything is made with the kind of care that’s increasingly rare.
Steve keeps things running so Crystal can keep cooking. Together, they’ve built something that has ranked #1 on TripAdvisor for over a decade — not because of marketing, but because people simply can’t stop talking about it.
